What are the system requirements?

How do I access clipboard history?

Use the configurable global hotkeys (default: Ctrl+Alt+V) to open the history window. You can customize hotkeys in the settings.

Is my data secure?

Yes. All data is stored locally on your machine. You can optionally enable encryption at rest using DPAPI. Session-only mode is available if you don't want history persistence.

Can I customize the hotkeys?

Yes, all hotkeys are fully customizable through the settings. If a hotkey conflicts with another application, fallback hotkeys are automatically assigned.

How much history is stored?

By default, the last 100 items are stored with per-format size limits. You can adjust these limits in the settings.

Does it support images?

Yes, CopyHotKey captures images in PNG format. Optional OCR support can extract text from images using Windows OCR engine.

How do I uninstall?

Use Windows Settings → Apps → CopyHotKey → Uninstall. Your settings and history are stored in %LocalAppData%\CopyHotKey and can be deleted manually if needed.
